Obi means heart in Igbo.
Obi Collective offers heart-led yoga and sculpt flows designed to be accessible, empowering, and community-centered. We offer yoga, sculpt, and strength training to help you feel strong in your body while staying deeply connected to yourself. Obi Collective was created by Oluchi as a space to move, train, and grow together. Whether you’re new to movement or looking to deepen your practice, Obi Collective meets you where you are and supports you every step of the way.
We offer in-person classes across Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire.
Oluchi began practicing yoga in 2020 during the pandemic and quickly fell in love with the practice. What started as a personal outlet soon became a passion and a calling.
In 2022, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and began teaching shortly after. Since then, Oluchi has continued to expand her education and experience, earning her 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification and becoming certified in additional modalities including sculpt and strength training.
Oluchi has led workshops, facilitated teacher trainings, and supported the development of other yoga teachers.
In every class Oluchi teaches, the goal is to help students feel physically strong while deepening the mind–body connection. Her personal Sankalpa (intention) is Connection — connection between teacher and student, between students and community, and most importantly, between individuals and themselves.
Through Obi Collective, Oluchi hopes to help others feel grounded in their bodies, confident in their strength, and connected to their hearts.
